I am of course talking about the awesome Alestorm, performing live at Wrexham Central Station on Weds 15th Feb 2012 @7pm.

Tickets are on sale now priced just £11.

If anyone's interested in going let me know - I'm trying to get a large group together, all dressed up as pirates, and swamp the streets fore and aft! We'll have room in our car for 3 people, and I'm sure others will be willing to drive too; or if there's enough of us maybe a minibus could be arranged.

If you're into folk/pirate metal it should be a great night! No word on supporting acts yet, I know CS is still looking for worthy bands Smile

Are you planning on buying the tickets in bulk to get a discount or should we be buying them separately?

That's a good question; I've said I'd buy Alan's and his sister's when Gav and I get ours, but if there's a lot of us I might be able to arrange a discount. I think we're going to Wrexham tomorrow so I'll call in and ask, and let you know Smile

Update to the above: Discounts aren't available on the tickets due to them only being £11 to start with. So it's probably best if people get their own. However, if anyone has trouble getting to Wrexham I'd be happy to get their tickets for them next time I go, provided I can get the money beforehand if I need to! We got ours from Yales, the cafe bar next to Central Station opposite TK MaXX.
