It seems that, between all of us, we've probably got a very large 'library' of games from which to dip into, and given that it's possible to borrow and return a board game or card game in an evening, I thought I'd start a list here.

I know that a few people have Boardgame Geek accounts which list their available games, but I'm going to try to combine those lists here, with the names of who have them and a vague genre notation. Those who want to add to the list may do so by referencing the games/link and I'll add them to this main post when I get a chance.

Simon and Matt are 'simon' and 'Paz' respectively. If that confuses people I'll amend the list to sign-on names. 'LMG' is Lannister Man's Group. Dave is Dave of the how-many-games-do-I-have-to-input variety... gah! When I get more time I'll try to make sure some of Dave's games are moved to the correct lists, as I didn't get a chance to check over all the links...

Here are my suitable games. I'm too tired to think of decent descriptions, so I've just pasted in the categories from BoardGameGeek.

Board Games:
Puerto Rico (plus Expansion) - Farming/City Building/Economic/Variable Phase Order - Matt
Power Grid - Economic/Industry/Manufacturing/Auction/Bidding - Matt
Tigris & Euphrates -  Territory Building/Ancient/Tile Placement - Matt
The Settlers of Catan -  Civilization/Trading/Modular Board/Dice Rolling - Matt
Ticket to Ride - Trains/Travel/Hand Management/Card Drafting - Matt
Carcassonne (plus The River, Inns & Cathedrals, Traders & Builders, King & Scout, The Count and The River II) -  Medieval/Tile Placement/Area Control - Matt
Thunder Road - Racing/Science Fiction/Fighting - Matt

Card Games:
Coloretto - Card Drafting/Hand Management/Set Collection - Matt
Apples to Apples UK - Word/Party Game/Humour - Matt
Pit - Real-time/Party Game/Trading/Set Collection - Matt
Killer Bunnies - Dice/Humour/Hand Management - Matt
Mao -  Humour/Memory/Party Game/Pattern Recognition - Matt

Other Games:
HeroScape Master Set: Rise of the Valkyrie - Miniatures/Adventure/Science Fiction/Fantasy/Dice Rolling/Hex-and-Counter/Modular Board - Matt
Perudo - Bluffing/Dice/Party Game/Betting/Wagering/Dice Rolling - Matt

I've edited this post; any underlined games are ones that are usually in my big yellow bag, which I bring whenever I'm expecting to play board games. I will bring any of the others on request only.

My full collection (including many I would never dream of bringing to a games night) is listed on BoardGameGeek here.

A few more to add to my collection, including the obvious omissions 'Werewolves of Miller's Hollow'.

Is it going to be easier to keep the list split up into different people's collections or combined into one big όber list?

EDIT: On reflection, it'll take a while to relink it all. Perhaps when I have a bit more time available. I've just added another ten or so card-games I've found though.

Could this thread be made a Sticky/Announcement, so that it's always up at the top?

We've started to compile a list in the new Boardgames/Cardgames forum - if I get a chance I'll try to compile one big όber list with everyone's games on.

Although having just clicked on the link to see what games you've got, it took me to the list I'd started making of my own. You've got the same name on Boardgamegeek haven't you? I'll find them that way.

The following is a list of the game that our group owns.

Junta (Fun, diplomacy and tactical game. Backstabbing encouraged)

War on Terror - Haven't played this yet but this looks good, particularly as somebody gets to wear a balaclava during the game.

Supremacy (World economic and military domination) with all the add ons bar the mega map Sad  But it does have mushroom cloud pieces, yes thats right, you get nukes Smile

Blood Royal - Excellent old school Games Workshop game of medieval trade, warfare and family politics.

Arkham Horror with King in Yellow, Dunwich Horror and Curse of the Dark Pharoah expansions. (Call of cthullu boardgame)

Game of Thrones with Clash of Kings and Storm of Swords expansions (Based on the novels by GRR Martin)

Diplomacy -Classic boardgame

World in Flames - Epic World War 2 Boardgame.

Civilisation - Classic boardgame

Lord of the Rings Risk - lightweight but fun strategy game.

There were two competing game collection threads, which I've merged into one. Sorry if some people's posts above don't make much sense any more, but I didn't want to go totally power mad and just delete them...
